Patient presents with root decay and abfraction lesions (lesions that often need to be filled but do not involve decay)
Patient has a large space on the upper left area, with two teeth missing, except the roots are still in the ridge. She has ONLY $500 and wants teeth filling the spaces.
Patient comes in with a gold crown that has fallen off. She wants to cement it back on, but there is not enough tooth structure to retain the crown with the usual cementation techniques. She has ONLY $50.
Patient has chipping edges of her upper front teeth - and is disturbed by the appearance. She asks her dentist if he can just polish off the rough edges and he says he cannot. She seeks a more detailed analysis of the situation.
